What To Expect

We want your experience here at Cayman International Assembly of God (CIAG) to be as positive as possible, so to alleviate any anxiety that you may have we have put together this little explanation of what you can expect from your first visit.

Because CIAG is likely to be different than most, if not all of the other churches you may have experienced this should help you to relax and enjoy your time with us today.

Dress Code:

At CIAG, there is no dress code. We are very casual and relaxed. It’s “come as you are” and most people wear jeans and either a t-shirt or casual dress shirt. You’ll see shorts and business casual. But hey—if you want to dress up just because—go ahead! It’s all about the freedom to be who you are.

When Arriving At Our Location:

As you enter the theater lobby, you should be greeted by one or more of our friendly “Guest Services Team”. They are here to assist you with any questions or needs you might have. They will give you a Registration Card that everyone receives. We ask you to please fill out the information as best you can and hold on to the card until you leave. There will be someone collecting them on your way out of the theater. (These are simply used to assist us in tracking our attendance and developing our email and contact list for future announcements and news)

Checking In Children:

If you have small children, you will be taken to the Children’s Ministry check-in where you will be able to register your little ones for the special services we provide just for them.

Our nursery is for ages 2 and under and children’s church is for ages 3-12

First–time visitors will fill out informational forms when checking in their child. Each child will receive a number, and we will notify the parents by flashing the number on the main screen if parents are needed.

Nursery-aged children will only be released to the parent or parent-designated adult holding the appropriate check-in documentation. Children’s church kids will also remain in children’s church until a parent or guardian retrieves them. Children are always welcome to sit with the family in the auditorium during the service.

You will then want to proceed to the main auditorium where the program or service will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.

There music will be playing as you enter (The music will begin playing 15 minutes prior to the start of the service).  Sit down and relax.  Our program will last one hour and will include times of singing and occasionally there will be dramatic presentations and various other artistic presentations.Usually at the end of the program there will be an offering received as you are leaving. Our first-time guests should not feel pressured or under obligation to give.

Each service will consist of about a 25-30 minute practical teaching out of the Bible with sermon notes provided to help you follow along.  Our Sunday services will usually have an informal dismissal after about 1 hour. There will be opportunity for any who wish to stay, worship, and pray longer. God has a purpose for your life, let’s find it!

As you leave you are encouraged to get to know some new friends.  We also encourage all parents to remember to pick up their kids. (Please)
